As seen in the pictures, there is a large drain in the basin for collecting run off water from the storm sewers. It is about a half a city block square and at least 20 feet below Pilgrim Road.
In the 15 years we have lived here, have never seen any water in the basin until Thursday, 7.22.2010.
In the winter time, neighborhood kids sled down the hills.
