Obituary - Edward E. Endries
Edward E. Endries Jr., 56, of 2016 Western Ave., Manitowoc, died unexpectedly
Tuesday morning at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at First Lutheran Church Chapel,
Manitowoc. The Rev. George Knudson will officiate and burial will be in
Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. Endries was born Sept. 10, 1914, at Manitowoc, son of the late Edward and
Molly Huebner Endries. He had been employed at Whitehouse Milk Co. until
1949. He owned and operated Endries Bar at 2016 Western Ave., Manitowoc. He
married Vivian Fritsch June 22, 1946, at Manitowoc. He was a veteran of World
War II, serving in the Navy as a radio operator from Sept. 25, 1942, to Nov. 23,
1945. Mr. Endries was past president and member of the Manitowoc Tavern League,
a member of the American Legion, the Izaak Walton League, and a lifetime member
of the Denmark Gun club.
Friends may call at the Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home, Manitowoc, after 4 p.m.
Wednesday until noon Thursday time of services.
